WC in Arendal ended with a 3rd place finish for B-32 and a 12th place for B-73. It was tight but exciting race over 16 laps during saturday.
After all three races, the final results were a bronze medal for B-32 and a 12th place for B-73 in the World Championship! 💫
B-32 competed with their new boat for the season, which performed exceptionally well despite not having many hours of run time yet. The competition was tough, and they really had to fight to maintain their position, but a great performance secured a podium finish.
B-73, which usually competes in 3A, participated with their monohull boat in the B class, racing against catamarans. Catamarans in 3B typically have higher speeds compared to monohull boats in 3A. Despite this, the team gave them a hard battle and crossed the finish line with several boats behind them. It has been proven that the Smuggler RS can compete effectively in multiple classes.
We are very pleased with the results for both boats over the weekend! It was also extra fun to see a large field on the course again. 👍🏼
We thank everyone who helped us and made this possible. A huge thank you to all our supporters.
Next World Championship, we are aiming for gold! 😉
